The wedding will be located on Mvuu Game Reserve, located around an hours drive from Hoedspruit Airport in the North-Eastern area of South Africa. Mvuu Game Reserve is located within the world-renowned Greater Kruger National Park.

Given most of our guests are international, the best way into the country will be flying into Johannesburg Airport. Qantas do a direct 14hr Sydney -> Johannesburg flight, and our star alliance friends can stop off in Perth on the way flying on Air NZ and SA Air. This Perth route doesn't fly every day so it will depend on your planned itinerary.

From Johannesburg you'll likely need to overnight in an airport hotel before getting a flight up to Hoedspruit in the morning. For Johannesburg airport hotels we'd recommend staying at the cheaper City Lodge Hotel and heading for dinner at the Intercontinental Hotel. Both of which are just a short walk across the road from the arrivals area at the airport.

We'll send out a questionnaire closer to the time getting your arrival times into Hoedspruit and we'll arrange transfers out to Mvuu for you.

If you're planning an extra part of your trip either before or after the wedding then there are also direct flights to Cape Town from both Johannesburg and Hoedspruit so it's an easy addition to the itinerary for great wineries, surf beaches and restaurants.
